A discussion about guilt.

The discussion about guilt is a topic related to both individual consciousness and social context. Based on the idea that humans act on regard of their environment, how much can an individual be blamed for his actions when that actions are extremely unfair, but also supported for the current way of political thinking of a society?
In that matter, I strongly recommend to know the history of Nazi officer named Adolf Eichmann and the studies of a philosopher named Hannah Arendt regarding the trial and personality of Eichmann.
Among other relevant questions, three special questions can be made and answered on the study: Was he a puppet? An evil man? Or just a guy following the contextual society of his time?
The discussion says a lot about both individuals and a collectivaty.

I pasted some links for reference:

I also recommend reading the book "The Human Condition", from Hannah Arendt.
