Linguistics

Linguistics is the study of language and encompasses a wide array of fields including syntax, morphology, phonetics, phonology, semantics, pragmatics, language families, and many more including interdisciplinary studies such as psycholinguistics (psychology and linguistics) and sociolinguistics (sociology and linguistics), making it a rich and varied field of study, being akin to both the humanities and the sciences. I believe Sprouts would be much benefited by beginning a set of videos and articles on linguistics, mapping out different subsets as well as individual theories, prominent linguists, and famous studies.
